Developed with the help of Speech and Language experts and launched in January 2001, the award-winning "Sing and Sign" programme has since taught thousands of parents across the UK how to sign with their babies and encourage amazing early communication.

Sing and Sign's original and unique approach has revolutionised baby signing in this country. Sing and Sign combines the benefits of both music and baby signing teaching a wide range of signs using some traditional and some specially written or adapted songs. Diddi Dance

 

 

Diddi Dance realise and encourage endless enthusiasm and energy in an action packed, full of fun 45 minute dance class. The classes were devised and started by Anne-Marie Wilkins, a professional dancer with over 10 years teaching experience. After running for over 4 years in London, classes are now opening all over the UK.

Using various dancing games and exercises, bells, hoops and dance ribbons to their own funky pop songs little ones not only improve rhythm and co-ordination but also social and gross motor skills. Classes look at different dance styles every half term from salsa and hip hop to country and disco.

THE NCT

The National Childbirth Trust helps over a million mums and dads each year through pregnancy, birth and early days of parenthood, offering antenatal and postnatal courses, local support and reliable information to help all parents. The Brighton and Hove branch is one of the largest and most active in terms of fundraising in the UK. Visitors to the NCT stand at the Baby Show will be able to sign up to ante-natal classes, find information on home birth support groups, VBAC support and get breast-feeding advice from trained counsellors in the breast-feeding room onsite.
